Who invents viruses? Seriously, they are the WORST. You basically have to devote your energy to getting rid of it so you don't lose everything on your computer. Thank goodness for System Restore. I am pretty much on board with getting a Mac now as my next computer. Maybe the virus writers are Mac people trying to get more customers? Hmmm... All I know is that I was a victim of the "Antivirus Soft" thing going around and I got it from just browsing TripAdvisor. Ridiculous.
In other news, I am finished with classes for the semester!! I just have my finals (all papers) due next week (one Monday and two Friday evening) and I am free! Hopefully tomorrow is a super productive day and am able to get a lot of stuff done. Unfortunately the Post Office and returning a Target gift without a receipt are both in the "to do list" so my time will be sucked up by other things. Boooooo.
I had my final final fitting for my wedding dress this afternoon! It was super exciting. Last Thursday was supposed to be the final fitting but apparently the left side of the top of my dress missed out on getting altered. So I looked super lopsided and lame. Luckily I had some way more assertive and supportive people (thanks Val!) with me to make sure everything got done right and when I tried it on today it was painless. We're only 5 weeks out!! Eek!! I'm getting pretty excited. Even more so after May 7th when all of my finals are turned in :)
In other news, my mom tried to look at lingerie with me and it was AWKWARD. I was okay for about 4 minutes, and then I was just like "okay, I think it's time to go." Pretty sure I might have used Kate Gosselin's famous phrase "I'm done." It's just...weird.
Alright well that's about it. I've got to be a responsible grad student and get to sleep to be super productive tomorrow. Pray for me! I've got a long week ahead of me!

Happy Wednesday
Actually, Wednesdays are my least favorite day of the week. But not for long--only two more classes, including today! Hooray! But the semester is really starting to finish up quickly. I'm turning in a book review today and then just have a small project Friday before all of my finals are due the week after next (one 12 page paper, one reflections paper, and one 8-12 page paper). I will be a busy bee for the next 2 weeks!
Weekends have been super busy lately too. Tyson and I went up to Fort Worth earlier this month to visit my former roomstar and for Tyson to run in a half-marathon. He beat his goal time and did very well--and beat Troy Aikman (haha). We drove up to the Messina Hof winery in Bryan last weekend to run in the 5k (me) and 10k (Tyson). I haven't really gotten into running yet, but am still trying. I've also had two showers thrown by sweet friends and have another this weekend for work. We are very lucky to have such supportive people in our life!

At a bridal shower with "lifelong friends" Lesley and Sarah! They flew in from Chicago and Palo Alto!
My bridesmaid and one of my best friends, Val--she has been so helpful and amazing
Former Nut House residents :)
I'm getting really excited about June! The countdown was way too high to get too excited, but we're only at 45 days now. Graduation and June 5th will be here so soon! Last night Tyson was looking at our honeymoon loacation and noticed that summer rate specials are going on and we could save just by rebooking our existing room. We actually switched rooms to an oceanfront view and saved $1,000. Needless to say we're pretty excited. If you want to check it out, we're going to the Excellence Playa Mujeres. :)
That's all I've got for now...Hope the new blog layout is readable! I do not know very much about CSS and coding and everything, but I did it all myself (with lots of help from google!), so I'm pretty proud of it. I definitely understand the market for paying people to design layouts for you and will be taking advantage of that next time. Ciao!

Finally!
Glee comes back tomorrow! I can hardly contain myself. I thought I had a paper due on Wednesday but thankfully it's next week. I'm watching Sectionals in anticipation of tomorrow's events.
How many times does Emma say "I'm sorry, but..." when yelling at the other glee club teachers? More than twice for sure.

Life
This semester I'm learning that sometimes I can't do it all and that it's okay to just do my best ("good enough") and just move on. Life is busy and work/life balance is important. Unfortunately, this is also the semester that I have a mean professor who completely nit-picks every phrase in papers, yet doesn't give grades so I have no idea how I'm doing in the class.
I will be so glad to graduate. Not that I'm actually attending the ceremony...just ready to be done with school and move on to my next adventure.

Duct Tape
Duct tape has many excellent uses. One that you may not be aware of is that it is most beneficial in removing warts. My mom informed me that she got rid of some warts on her hand so of course I wanted to google the authenticity of such a claim. I found a study (can't find the source now) that found that 85% of patients that used duct tape did not have their wart come back versus 60% who used cyrotherapy. Anyways, my wart is now totally invisible to the naked eye (my mom so kindly pointed out that the roots were probably still there--so I'm still using it) and I am so glad because a chin wart is just gross. I also noticed that clear worked better than the regular stuff.
I know this post was waited for with bated breath.
