Baked Potato Mondays are my favorite!

So I have been working at my job on campus for three weeks and a day and my current obsession is Pandora Radio. And naps. But not the latter during work. But anyways, it makes me feel semi-cool because it's like I have my own radio station of music I like. And I can say "thumbs down" and it will skip a bad song and ban it from my station. So fun.

I've been reading lots of different (children's/young adult/but really children's) books this summer. I am currently on the sixth book in the Chronicles of Narnia series, The Silver Chair. It's pretty good so far, but I only started last night.

Now that I am a college graduate, I feel all this additional pressure to use excellent grammar. This is only magnified by the fact that my degree is for educating young minds about English and Social Studies. So silly. Where is all this going? No idea. Except maybe I consider this an excuse for me talking slower.

I used to be an anti-Rachael Ray person (mainly because she's always on tv, being obnoxious and talking to her audience like they are children who haven't taken their ADD medicine) but in my Food Network afternoon marathon, I decided I enjoy her cooking. Not that she cares, but anyways.

Well I would really like a nap so I think I will indulge.

all you need is love...and a shiny aggie ring

So I'm still enjoying being a graduate (no school or GPR to worry about) but I am constantly getting the, "what are you doing now?" I think I have a mini-speech memorized that I say every time. Here it goes....

Inquiring person: "Congratulations! What are your plans now?"

Me: "Thank you...well I am working part-time on campus at A&M right now and will
start grad school in the fall."

Inquisitor: "That sounds <>! Where
are you working?"

Me: "The business office in the College of Architecture. It's been a
really great learning experience so far."

And then I try to run away. But anyways. I have been [attempting] to keep myself busy cleaning and organizing, cricuting, reading Alex Rider books, and trying to get a tan. I would also include working out but I would definitely not win Miss Consistent in a pageant. A workout pageant?

I have a bubble bath calling my name so I had better hang out with it!

that silly boy is the love of my life :o)

blinky mcblinkerson

I graduated college one week ago. Creepy. I'm an adult.

In other news, JoJo and Joseph and I are watching J.O. and making fun of his blinking and crazy talking. Who is he? I have nooo idea. Joanna thinks he's the antichrist.

I start my new job tomorrow. I'm nervous. And I need to go to sleep soon.

"i was thinking bob marley!"

So apparently it's not cool to have a xanga anymore, so I have resorted back to yonder blogger. Tally ho, blogging adventures!

So in watching a little American Idol tonight, I have made a few decisions. One is that the producers must be telling the judges who to bash on, at least somewhat. I say this because David Archuletta was boring. And they just gushed about how amazing he was. I mean, really? No. Bad. Snoozefest.

I like watching comedians' faces when they're waiting for applause and laughter to finish. It's like smugness because they pulled off the joke mixed with awkwardness because they have to wait.

Graduation = 4 days. Crazy.

so i've been trying to update this thing for the past couple of weeks and i could not for the life of me remember how to do it. but i just figured it out and it makes me feel quite stupid.
anyways...life has been incredibly busy lately. friends and ASC and classes and life in general has kept me on the go. but oh well.

holy spinal cord guess who has second row tickets to the chris tomlin concert on the twenty-seventh of october? yeah that would definitely be me and ashley. i am totally and completley excited about it!

well that's all i've got for now, the one time i figure out how to update and i have nothing of relevance to say :( ohh well!

well basically right now I am extremely bored because i am the only person in my house who is awake. so this will basically just be a rambling rant until i get bored of this too.

last night thumper, bondi, and i pulled an all-nighter. but i definitely fell asleep early. still, i'm exhausted. i'm only up because i woke up at 9:45 and i knew if i went back to sleep i wouldn't wake up till about 2.

i really need to floss my teeth.
i have this weird stomach twinge. it's not a pain...and i just ate quite a bit (for before 12) and it won't go away. it's really bugging me because it's just this nagging thing i can feel. kind of like last night when a teeny tiny little bug was on my tv and it was big enough so that i could see it but small enough not to make a difference at the same time.

lately i have been going crazy buying dvds. i haven't even watched 4 of the ones i bought and i want more. it's a crazy obsession which needs to cease. unfortunately my birthday is in a month and a few days and i know what i'll be asking for.

since i got home from camp, i have been feeling guilty for being so blessed. partly because i've been driving to the galleria and all over the katy freeway, etc. so i see people who aren't as fortunate as i am. i want to do something about it (volunteer or something) but i'm not sure how yet. and i guess this is better than just being absorbed in my dvd collection.

well i'm going to go clean my room from last night's festivities and then hopefully watch a movie...but maybe not because i would most definitely fall asleep.
