Hello! So if you read Ali Edwards' blog, you might know that she is currently doing her project Week in the Life, which is basically dedicated to capturing with words and photos the daily rhythms of your family. I wasn't planning on joining in, but while I was eating lunch, I suddenly felt impulsive and started snapping pictures. I don't have much for today, but I'm okay with that.
9am: morning workout with Ashley (cardio + a little weight lifting)
10:45: come home to find that I forgot to put away the marshmallows from last night's s'mores and Brody helped himself to the leftovers. Story of my life.
11am: Lots of dishes to do from last night.
...while Brody pouts.
12:15pm: Wolfed down a turkey sandwich
1pm: I finally give in and we go out to play. Brody has to sit by the mat and wait for the ok to run away.
My basil is thriving along with a lone weed on my thyme side. I think I need to re-seed.
Of course our baby grill is still out from last night.
Too tired to play?
2:30pm: Coffee with a friend
4pm: grocery shopping
6pm: Will it actually rain? (Answer: not really.)
6:15pm: Sudoku time
...while I check the mail! I won Kelly Goree's 500th + 5 year post giveaway last week and I received my loot today. I was so very excited. I unloaded it in the kitchen and kept exclaiming variations of "ohmygosh!" and finally Tyson wandered in to see what was going on. There's even some really cute school stuff along with buttons, brads, stickers, paper, rub-ons, and so much other amazingly cute stuff. I was blown away by her generosity.
6:30pm: baked potato night! I go meatless, but Tyson likes protein. He chose leftover kalua pork.
Delish.
