Project Life 2013, Week 12

A quick Project Life page this week...everything has been going in fast forward lately! Last week consisted of an emphasis on yummy desserts. I think I'm going to need another mint chocolate chip cupcake before the cupcake of the month is retired at Ooh La La. And maybe another caramel macaron. Yum.

Happy 30th anniversary to my parents today!! Hip hip hooray!

So, I guess macarons are...trendy right now? We got one at the end of a meal in Vegas, and I was surprised at how pillowy and lovely it was. Tyson found a place locally that makes them. We both agreed that we now understand the hype.

The bakery around the corner from us has a cupcake of the month and March is mint chocolate chip. Let's just say I'm pretty bummed I only have 10 days to enjoy the awesomeness.

Project Life 2013, Week 11

Oh week 11, how I wish you were still here. Last week was Spring Break. Plenty of pictures this week--I need to make a travel book for all the photos that didn't make it.

Full week. I'm getting hungry just looking at it.

Our last day, we played around in the Cosmopolitan hotel and were more tourist-y. I was really wishing I had my good camera, but my phone ended up getting some decent shots...

Vegas, Part Deux

Once upon a time, Tyson googled. I don't know what he was looking for, but he found out that one of our very favorite Top Chef personas (Rick Moonen with Matthew Accarrino) was hosting an event in Vegas while we would be in town. We ended up enjoying one of the best meals with some awesome company. I am still kind of in awe...
