The Real Housewives of New Jersey is a ridiculous show...and I can't stop watching it.

My most used applications on my start menu are Firefox, Cricut DesignStudio, Word, iTunes, PowerPoint, and Notebook. I feel like this probably says a lot about me...

I have been dog sitting for my parents' friends for the past week and a half, and they return from their vacation tomorrow night. It's been pretty sweet, because I've had a legitimate excuse for going to bed before 11 (except tonight haha...) and waking up at a reasonable hour (8:30ish--those who know me are impressed), so that has been a good routine for me. One of the puppies has diabetes and has to have insulin injections twice a day, so I'm glad I only have to give 2 more for awhile. But on Friday we are leaving for Hawaii!! Hip hip hooray!

I've been living out of suitcases for the past 2 weeks and have another week of it left... the majority of my stuff is in storage, and there are a few items I need to locate still. :o(

That's really all I've got going on right now...it's so nice not having work or school! Even though I only work part time, it's still nice to have some time off :o) Definitely soaking up the next year, times like these won't last long!

Such a pretty day, and I'm stuck inside...

It's officially summertime for me because as of 12:59pm this afternoon I turned in my last assignment! It was actually really sweet, because it happened to be a project worth half of my overall grade and it was very ambiguous. The assignment was to demonstrate your understanding of training and development by teaching yourself to do something over the course of the semester. My natural inclination was to freak out (I love guidelines and a rubric to make sure I'm tracking), but I really enjoyed the assignment and getting to express my creativity. Plus it was way better than the 15 page paper I had to write or pretty much any other assignment ever. I learned Photoshop (something I've always wanted to learn) and made a slide show of my different creations. My professor emailed me back to say he received it, and then again 5 minutes later to say that he loved my project!! My love language is words of affirmation, so that totally made my day. I also just looked at my grade (he already graded it, wow!) and I got an A. Honestly, I was more excited about his feedback than my grade. Is that a sign of maturity?

It's really weird to think that I'm going to be graduating and out in the real world this time next year. I move out of my apartment that I've lived in for 4 years on Saturday, so I've been packing up my belongings. Pretty sad. This week I'm working 40 hours, which is interesting only because it's still the slow part of the year. So I feel awful, but honestly I haven't done too much today. Especially for a Monday, which is usually my busiest day. I should find a project or something for the rest of the week.

That's all for now. I'm really looking forward to dogsitting, Hawaii, and moving in to my new place! But also trying not to wish my lazy days away, because I'm pretty sure it's only going to get crazier.
